Το trailsandfood.com είναι ταξιδιωτικό blog. Δεν πουλάμε ούτε νοικιάζουμε δεδομένα σε κανέναν. Προσωπικά δεδομένα κρατάμε σε λίγες περιπτώσεις: όταν ανοίγεις μια σελίδα, όταν μας γράφεις, όταν γράφεσαι στο newsletter, όταν κλείνεις ξενάγηση ή συνεργάζεσαι μαζί μας και, αν το επιτρέψεις στο banner των cookies, για στατιστικά και διαφημίσεις. Παρακάτω λέμε τι κρατάμε κάθε φορά, γιατί, για πόσο, και τι μπορείς να ζητήσεις.
Η πολιτική αυτή ακολουθεί τον Γενικό Κανονισμό Προστασίας Δεδομένων (Κανονισμός (ΕΕ) 2016/679, ΓΚΠΔ), τον ν. 4624/2019 και τον ν. 3471/2006 για τις ηλεκτρονικές επικοινωνίες.
Ποιοι είμαστε
Υπεύθυνος επεξεργασίας των δεδομένων είναι ο Σπύρος Θεοδωρόπουλος, Αγρίνιο, Αιτωλοακαρνανία, Ελλάδα, που διαχειρίζεται το trailsandfood.com. Για οτιδήποτε αφορά τα δεδομένα σου, γράψε μας στο info@trailsandfood.com ή δες τη σελίδα επικοινωνίας. Υπεύθυνο Προστασίας Δεδομένων (DPO) δεν έχουμε ορίσει, γιατί ο νόμος δεν το απαιτεί για ένα site αυτού του μεγέθους.

Ο server που φιλοξενεί το site καταγράφει αυτόματα κάθε αίτημα. Τα αρχεία αυτά τα χρησιμοποιούμε μόνο για να δουλεύει το site και για να εντοπίζουμε επιθέσεις.
Για το newsletter ζητάμε μόνο το email σου. Με την εγγραφή σού στέλνουμε το δωρεάν e-book και στη συνέχεια τα νέα άρθρα και τις διαδρομές μας. Διαγράφεσαι όποτε θες από τον σύνδεσμο στο τέλος κάθε email, ή γράφοντάς μας.
Για ξενάγηση στην Αιτωλοακαρνανία χρειαζόμαστε όνομα, τηλέφωνο ή email, ημερομηνία και αριθμό ατόμων, και τα στοιχεία που απαιτεί η εφορία για το παραστατικό.
Κανένα από αυτά τα στοιχεία δεν είναι υποχρεωτικό. Χωρίς email όμως δεν μπορούμε να σου στείλουμε το newsletter, και χωρίς στοιχεία επικοινωνίας δεν μπορούμε να κλείσουμε ξενάγηση. Αυτοματοποιημένες αποφάσεις για σένα δεν παίρνουμε.
Cookies και διαφημίσεις
Την πρώτη φορά που ανοίγεις το site βλέπεις ένα banner. Τα λειτουργικά cookies μπαίνουν πάντα, γιατί χωρίς αυτά το site δεν δουλεύει σωστά: θυμούνται, για παράδειγμα, τη γλώσσα που διάλεξες και την επιλογή που έκανες στο banner. Τα cookies για προτιμήσεις, στατιστικά και μάρκετινγκ μπαίνουν μόνο αν συμφωνήσεις, όπως ορίζει το άρθρο 4 παρ. 5 του ν. 3471/2006. Την επιλογή σου την αλλάζεις ή την ανακαλείς όποτε θες από τις ρυθμίσεις cookies του site. Περισσότερα θα βρεις στην Πολιτική Cookies.
Το site δείχνει διαφημίσεις μέσω Google AdSense. Τρίτοι προμηθευτές, ανάμεσά τους και η Google, χρησιμοποιούν cookies για να προβάλλουν διαφημίσεις με βάση τις προηγούμενες επισκέψεις σου σε αυτό το site ή σε άλλα. Τα διαφημιστικά cookies επιτρέπουν στη Google και στους συνεργάτες της να σου δείχνουν διαφημίσεις με βάση τις επισκέψεις σου εδώ και αλλού στο διαδίκτυο. Τις εξατομικευμένες διαφημίσεις τις κλείνεις στις Ρυθμίσεις διαφημίσεων της Google, ή για πολλούς παρόχους μαζί στο youronlinechoices.eu. Το πώς χρησιμοποιεί η Google τα δεδομένα από sites που συνεργάζονται μαζί της το εξηγεί στη δική της σελίδα.
Τα cookies στατιστικών μάς δείχνουν συγκεντρωτικά ποιες σελίδες διαβάζονται και από πού έρχονται οι επισκέπτες. Δεν μας λένε ποιος είσαι.
Υπηρεσίες τρίτων
Κάποια κομμάτια του site φορτώνουν από servers άλλων εταιρειών. Όταν φορτώνουν, η εταιρεία βλέπει τουλάχιστον τη διεύθυνση IP σου και τη σελίδα στην οποία βρίσκεσαι, και μπορεί να βάλει δικά της cookies. Όσες δουλεύουν για λογαριασμό μας, όπως η φιλοξενία και η αποστολή του newsletter, επεξεργάζονται τα δεδομένα μόνο με δικές μας οδηγίες.

Affiliate σύνδεσμοι
Σε ορισμένα άρθρα υπάρχουν widgets αναζήτησης πτήσεων της Skyscanner. Αν κλείσεις εισιτήριο μέσα από αυτά, παίρνουμε προμήθεια χωρίς να πληρώσεις κάτι παραπάνω. Η κράτηση γίνεται στο site της Skyscanner ή της αεροπορικής, με τη δική τους πολιτική απορρήτου.
Social media
Έχουμε σελίδες στο Instagram, το Facebook, το TikTok και το YouTube. Ό,τι κάνεις εκεί (follow, σχόλιο, μήνυμα) το επεξεργάζεται η κάθε πλατφόρμα με τους δικούς της όρους. Εμείς βλέπουμε το δημόσιο προφίλ σου, όσα μας γράφεις και συγκεντρωτικά στατιστικά. Για τα στατιστικά της σελίδας μας στο Facebook είμαστε από κοινού υπεύθυνοι επεξεργασίας με τη Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.
Σε κάποιες αναρτήσεις, αν σχολιάσεις μια λέξη-κλειδί, σου έρχεται αυτόματα μήνυμα με τον σύνδεσμο του άρθρου. Αυτό γίνεται μέσω της υπηρεσίας LinkDM, που επεξεργάζεται το όνομα χρήστη και το σχόλιό σου για να σταλεί το μήνυμα.
Δεδομένα εκτός ΕΕ
Κάποιοι πάροχοι, κυρίως η Google, επεξεργάζονται δεδομένα και εκτός Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης, όπως στις ΗΠΑ. Οι μεταφορές αυτές στηρίζονται σε απόφαση επάρκειας της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής, όπως το Πλαίσιο Προστασίας Δεδομένων ΕΕ-ΗΠΑ για τους πιστοποιημένους παρόχους, ή σε τυποποιημένες συμβατικές ρήτρες. Πέρα από τους παρόχους του πίνακα, δίνουμε δεδομένα μόνο σε δημόσιες αρχές, και μόνο όταν μας υποχρεώνει ο νόμος.
Τα δικαιώματά σου
Μπορείς να μας ζητήσεις αντίγραφο των δεδομένων που έχουμε για σένα, να διορθώσουμε ό,τι είναι λάθος, να τα διαγράψουμε, να περιορίσουμε τη χρήση τους ή να σου τα δώσουμε σε μορφή που μεταφέρεται σε άλλον πάροχο. Μπορείς επίσης να αντιταχθείς σε επεξεργασία που στηρίζεται σε έννομο συμφέρον μας. Όπου η επεξεργασία στηρίζεται στη συγκατάθεσή σου, την ανακαλείς όποτε θες, χωρίς αυτό να αλλάζει τη νομιμότητα όσων έγιναν πριν.
Γράψε μας στο info@trailsandfood.com. Απαντάμε μέσα σε έναν μήνα και δεν χρεώνουμε τίποτα. Μπορεί να σου ζητήσουμε ένα στοιχείο για να βεβαιωθούμε ότι είσαι εσύ.
Αν πιστεύεις ότι χειριζόμαστε λάθος τα δεδομένα σου, έχεις δικαίωμα καταγγελίας στην Αρχή Προστασίας Δεδομένων Προσωπικού Χαρακτήρα: Λεωφ. Κηφισίας 1-3, 115 23 Αθήνα, τηλ. 210 6475600, contact@dpa.gr, www.dpa.gr. Αν μένεις σε άλλη χώρα της ΕΕ, μπορείς να απευθυνθείς και στην αρχή της χώρας σου.
Ανήλικοι
Το site δεν απευθύνεται σε παιδιά. Στην Ελλάδα, για να δώσεις μόνος σου συγκατάθεση σε online υπηρεσίες πρέπει να έχεις κλείσει τα 15 (άρθρο 21 του ν. 4624/2019). Αν είσαι κάτω των 15, γράψου στο newsletter μόνο με τη συγκατάθεση του γονέα ή του κηδεμόνα σου. Αν μάθουμε ότι κρατάμε δεδομένα παιδιού κάτω των 15 χωρίς τέτοια συγκατάθεση, τα σβήνουμε.
Ασφάλεια
Το site δουλεύει με κρυπτογραφημένη σύνδεση (HTTPS), και πρόσβαση στα δεδομένα έχουμε μόνο εμείς και οι πάροχοι του πίνακα. Κανένα σύστημα δεν είναι απόλυτα ασφαλές. Αν γίνει παραβίαση που θέτει σε κίνδυνο τα δεδομένα σου, ενημερώνουμε την Αρχή μέσα σε 72 ώρες και, αν ο κίνδυνος για σένα είναι υψηλός, κι εσένα.
Αλλαγές
Όταν αλλάζει κάτι στον τρόπο που χειριζόμαστε τα δεδομένα, αλλάζουμε αυτή τη σελίδα και την ημερομηνία στην αρχή της.

trailsandfood.com is a travel blog. We do not sell or rent data to anyone. We keep personal data in a few situations: when you open a page, when you write to us, when you join the newsletter, when you book a tour or work with us and, if you allow it in the cookie banner, for statistics and advertising. Below we say what we keep in each case, why, for how long, and what you can ask of us.
This policy follows the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, GDPR), Greek Law 4624/2019 and Greek Law 3471/2006 on electronic communications.
Who we are
The data controller is Spiros Theodoropoulos, Agrinio, Aitoloakarnania, Greece, who runs trailsandfood.com. For anything about your data, write to info@trailsandfood.com or see our contact page. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, because the law does not require one for a site of this size.

The server that hosts the site logs every request automatically. We use those logs only to keep the site running and to spot attacks.
For the newsletter we ask only for your email address. When you sign up we send you the free e-book, and after that our new articles and routes. You can unsubscribe at any time through the link at the bottom of every email, or by writing to us.
For a tour in Aitoloakarnania we need a name, a phone number or email, the date and the number of people, plus the details the tax office requires for the receipt.
None of this information is compulsory. Without an email address, though, we cannot send you the newsletter, and without contact details we cannot book a tour. We do not make automated decisions about you.
Cookies and advertising
The first time you open the site you see a banner. Functional cookies are always set, because the site does not work properly without them: they remember, for example, the language you chose and the choice you made in the banner. Preference, statistics and marketing cookies are set only if you agree, as required by Article 4(5) of Greek Law 3471/2006. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time in the site’s cookie settings. There is more in the Cookie Policy.
The site shows ads through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your earlier visits to this site or to other sites. Advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to show you ads based on your visits here and elsewhere on the internet. You can turn off personalised advertising in Google’s Ads Settings, or for many providers at once at youronlinechoices.eu. Google explains how it uses data from sites that work with it on its own page.
Statistics cookies show us in aggregate which pages are read and where visitors come from. They do not tell us who you are.
Third-party services
Some parts of the site load from other companies’ servers. When they load, that company sees at least your IP address and the page you are on, and may set its own cookies. Those that work on our behalf, such as hosting and newsletter delivery, process data only on our instructions.

Affiliate links
Some articles contain Skyscanner flight search widgets. If you book a ticket through them, we earn a commission and you pay nothing extra. The booking happens on Skyscanner’s site or the airline’s, under their own privacy policy.
Social media
We have pages on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube. Whatever you do there (follow, comment, message) is processed by each platform under its own terms. We see your public profile, what you write to us and aggregate statistics. For the statistics of our Facebook page we are joint controllers with Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.
On some posts, if you comment a keyword, you automatically receive a message with the link to the article. This runs through a service called LinkDM, which processes your username and your comment in order to send that message.
Data outside the EU
Some providers, mainly Google, also process data outside the European Union, for example in the United States. Those transfers rely on an adequacy decision of the European Commission, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for certified providers, or on standard contractual clauses. Apart from the providers in the table, we hand data only to public authorities, and only when the law obliges us to.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, to correct anything that is wrong, to delete it, to restrict how we use it, or to give it to you in a format you can take to another provider. You can also object to processing that relies on our legitimate interest. Where processing relies on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, and that does not affect the lawfulness of what was done before.
Write to info@trailsandfood.com. We reply within one month and charge nothing. We may ask for a detail to confirm that it is you.
If you think we are handling your data wrongly, you have the right to complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority: 1-3 Kifisias Avenue, 115 23 Athens, Greece, tel. +30 210 6475600, contact@dpa.gr, www.dpa.gr. If you live in another EU country, you can also go to the authority in your own country.
Children
The site is not aimed at children. In Greece you must be 15 to give your own consent to online services (Article 21 of Law 4624/2019). If you are under 15, join the newsletter only with the consent of a parent or guardian. If we learn that we hold data of a child under 15 without that consent, we delete it.
Security
The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and only we and the providers in the table have access to the data. No system is completely secure. If a breach puts your data at risk, we notify the Authority within 72 hours and, if the risk to you is high, we notify you too.
Changes
When something changes in how we handle data, we change this page and the date at the top.
